My research spans postcolonial and transnational literary studies; South Asian migration and diaspora, with particular attention to related novels, poetry, short stories, popular cultures, film, and media studies. Across these fields, I pursue an intermedial approach to examining how questions of migration, home, belonging, nationhood, ecology, justice, gender, and disability are articulated and contested within and across literary, cinematic, and digital forms.
